
SUMMER BRIDGE
Are you looking for a summer program for your children ages 3-5?
Summer is fast approaching and now is the time to register your children for a summer packed full of enrichment and fun! Our six-week program is an opportunity to explore arts, crafts, STEM, dynamic special visitors and instructional learning interwoven throughout the day. Students will engage in activities to sharpen and gain skills that can benefit them socially, creatively, and academically. The Summer Bridge program:
- Supports cumulative learning without gaps.
- Helps the mind stay sharp and alert.
- Lessens the decline of academic skills.
- Increases student’s confidence levels.
- Provides specialized instruction for academic and creative enhancement.

Summer Bridge is an awesome program that bridges the gap between the academic school year and summer break. Aloha Fun Week! 6/26 – 6/30
The hot weather is here! With our tropical temperatures we will explore the island of Hawaii. We will go out in the sun. We will learn about Hawaiian culture and how God formed these special islands. We will build a volcano and have some beach ball fun. It will be so cool the kids won’t even realize they are learning.
Fifty-Nifty United States 7/3 – 7/7
Happy Birthday America! All things red, white and blue! We will have a birthday party for the United States of America. Our special visitor will tell us how they have served our country and help to keep our country safe.
We will travel inside our classroom from the Statue of Liberty to the Grand Canyon to the Nation’s Capital. We will pray for our nation, honor our soldiers and celebrate the birth of our nation. Get ready for a red, white, and blue party.
July 4 – Holiday, No Summer Bridge
Nature Week 7/10 – 7/14
We will look at God’s wonderful creation all week long – the bugs, birds, trees, oceans and seas. Noah’s Ark is a wonderful addition to having fun with nature and animals. We will explore our state bird as well as the dove and raven, like the ones Noah sent out. We will make crafts and projects using nature. Learning will be at an all-time high as we explore the sand from the beach and the water from the seas.
Bubbles and Board Games 7/17 – 7/21
Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles…large bubbles, small bubbles, stand inside bubbles. Board games until your heart is content. We will have fun as we learn and laugh with games and bubbles. Board games are a great way to build confidence, engage in fun learning activities, increase patience and build comradery between classmates. This is a wonderful week that displays the fruit of the spirit.
Awesome Community Workers 7/24 – 7/28
We welcome local community workers who help keep us safe and comfortable to visit our classroom. Children will meet police officers and firefighters, and tour a police car and fire truck. Learning and exploring the jobs and people who keep us safe is sure to be exciting. Our invitation goes out to local our local fire department and police station, local workers, and our pastor.
AECA Team Spirit 7/30 – 8/4
Spirit week will be filled with team spirit! Together we achieve more. This is a great week of team building activities, learning and fun. When do you get to come to Summer Bridge in your pajamas? Spirit week on PJ day! We will have pajama day, kick-ball day, and team activities. We will play games inside and outside as we build teamwork and have fun doing it. God tells us we are one body with many parts and each part is important.
